Mining Group ​

The rock and mining group promotes the development of structural information management and information modeling in the mining sector. Agreed-upon and standards-based data structures make it easier to transfer and automate information across all phases of a project's life cycle (planning – construction – operational asset management – decommissioning – post-closure). The aim of the activities is to increase the understanding of information modeling among industry professionals and to develop tools that support more accurate data management and utilization, as well as to create common practices and guidelines that facilitate automation in data management and accelerate project implementation. Another goal is to increase collaboration between different actors in the industry so that information flows seamlessly between different project phases and organizations.
